about

This is a wonderful compilation of the great and late Harry "Sweets" Edison with his friends in life and music.

This set matches among others Harry "Sweets" Edison and Joe Williams with tenor saxophonist Jimmy Foster and a four-piece rhythm section that includes pianist Sir Charles Thompson. Among the highlights of the dozen standards are "I Don't Know Why", and "Lover Come Back to Me“. Highly recommended.
